On October 12, 2026 the Statia Cultural Heritage and Implementation Committee (SCHIC) launched the website “To A Dignified Reburial Of Our Ancestors“.
From the very beginning, the goal of the committee has been to work with total openness. To show exactly how they operate, they are launching a dedicated blog featuring a complete project timeline.
This timeline tracks their entire journey from their start in October 2022 up to the present day in October 2026. By launching this website, the Implementation Committee wants to give a clear, unfiltered look at their decisions, milestones, and progress over the last four years.
Moving forward, this website will serve as their central hub for regular updates. The Statia Cultural Heritage and Implementation Committee believes that transparency builds trust, and they want everyone to be part of every step they take.
