Six years ago, in response to the unethical archaeological practices carried out on our ancestral burial grounds, awakened our innate collective responsibility to protect our land, community and memory.
Now, we as a community are set to rebury and memorialization of our ancestral remains and memory.

We’re focusing on fellowships for young people from Statia, but we also invite others on Statia—and even from other Dutch Caribbean islands—who are interested to get involved. We are now in the preparation phase.
